[The gist of the novel]
A deadly set of 12 ancient vampires are at war. They wage war in the shadows and walk in the day. They have remained hidden for three thousand years. One in particular, Set has been searching in those three thousand years for just one of the eight. In that three thousand years is a sceret fraternity of human mortals, the Vigilo who have taken a watchful and wary position of the vampires. They watch and hunt them.

He's found her in America in the least likely place. What's worse is that the woman has infiltrated his organization and she single handedly brought down the local arm. Now he's called an all out blood war for her undead or her head. She gets help from the most unexpected places.
